NEW DELHI: Triumph motorcycles launched the all new 2021 Bonneville Bobber in India on Tuesday at Rs 11.75,000 (former showroom, Delhi).
The Bobber has been one of Triumph’s most popular motorcycles and the 2021 model has all the authenticity of the previous generation of Bobber and adds all the class defining capabilities of the Bobber Black.
Important updates include improved engine performance, higher spec technology and equipment, and an all-new blacked-out and chunkier styling.
The Bobber is powered by Triumph’s latest generation 1200cc British twin-engine Bonneville. The charismatic 270-degree ignition interval results in beautifully smooth and linear power, with the new engine delivering noticeable lift at 5,500 rpm. The maximum torque is 106 Nm at 4000 rpm and the maximum power is 78 hp at 6100 rpm.

Driving distance is also improved by the new larger 12 liter fuel tank which gives you up to 33% more range. Triumph’s ride-by-wire system provides precise throttle control and activates the two enhanced ride modes – “Road” and “Rain”. These adjust both throttle response and traction control settings to increase confidence and safety in all conditions.
The 2021 Triumph Bobber now features a large 16-inch front wheel and new, thicker 47mm front forks, giving a truly muscular and imposing front presence. The new front wheel is complemented by Bobber’s wide rear wheel setup. Both have a classic metallic spoke design, with black rims. Avon Cobra tires have been specially developed for the Bobber, with a lightweight construction for excellent handling at high speeds and top notch stability.
The Bobber is fitted with premium Brembo 2-piston calipers and dual discs while at the rear is a single disc setup. Triumph ABS and switchable traction control are standard for added safety.
At the heart of the Bobber’s authentic rigid tail look is the aluminum floating seat, with monoshock suspension and distinctive “swing cage” swingarm. The seat is ergonomically optimized and sculpted for comfort, with a beautifully stitched deep foam cushion. The seat height is only 690mm making it extremely accessible to ride.
The Bobber has all the signature features including minimal steel fenders with a center ridge and return edge, wide flat bars with wide adjustable levers, sculpted top yoke, rubber gaiters, classic rear hub Inspired by ‘drum brake’, a side mounted ignition barrel, black painted handlebar end mirrors, LED turn signals and a new fully exclusive LED headlight.
For increased visibility, for 2021 the headlight is fitted with Triumph’s iconic LED daytime running light. And adding to the minimalist style of 2021, new black engine covers, a cam cover and a sprocket cover, give the Bobber a new meaner and darker edge.
For 2021, the instruments feature a new bezel, including a metallic embellisher with a subtle Bonneville branding. There’s a new dial, with translucent silver markings and more integrated warning lights. The multifunction display is controlled by an easily accessible handlebar mounted scroll button.
The new generation 2021 Bobber comes in three distinctive color options, with a new Matt Storm Gray and Matt Ironstone scheme, a new Cordovan Red scheme and a classic Jet Black option.
With a range of 77 Triumph Genuine Accessories on offer, including an alternate high bar setup, luggage and a choice of seating options, as well as its top-notch adjustable seating position and footrests, the Bobber was designed for riders to adapt to them and their style.
