This week for the “Bitcoin Magazine Podcast” we have a replay of last week’s interview between Adam Back and Pete Rizzo on Satoshi’s legacy. Back is the co-founder and CEO of Blockstream and the inventor of Proof of Work.

Thoughtful return to discovering Bitcoin and finding the best information about it early on. He worked hard to understand the technical components as well as all of Satoshi’s writings on Bitcoin. Back isn’t too keen on glorifying Satoshi or quoting them, as he doesn’t think it’s as important for individuals to learn from Satoshi’s thought as it is to define Bitcoin based on the product and the network itself.

Back and Rizzo reflected on the differences between the stated intention of the Bitcoin project, what is actually under construction, and how Satoshi contributed to this philosophy. Enjoy this broad conversation about Satoshi’s authority, influence and legacy.
